c’mon baby do the loco-motion with me
I didn’t know kylie minogue sang that song until friday.
Friday I was on set with her, and it wasn’t until I googled her to see her discography I found out she a) sang said song and b) her first single was in 1987 … the year I was born.
I was later advised by my boss not to mention said fact . I didn’t .
Friday started at 6:00 am … I woke up before my alarm … [uurrrggg dontcha hate when that happens ? you are forced to roll around and try and find the cool spot in your bed!!]
I physically coooullldddn’t roll around . my body ached so much so that I lay there, wide eyed, for another hour .
why couldn’t I move around you ask ? why was my body in such pain ? oh … oh … ready for this ?
I decided, in mid august, to gather my dear friends whom live in this city to join an inter mural dodge ball team ! yes folks, dodge ball is the name of the game, and game is something our team is lacking.
we were dreadful.
not to mention I may or may not of accidently signed us up for intermediate dodge ball.
whops ! my bad !
so we decided to go for beers after our 90 minute game … [side note : who the eff plays dodge ball for 90 minutes?]
we ended up at a firkin and drank some pitchers until I am sure nobody was suppose to drive home …
the boyfriend and I got home at 1:00 am … I had a 18 hour day ahead of me … after 5 hours [ended up being 4] of sleep.

It wasn’t all awful though, the run through of Kylie’s performances were amazing, I got to meet her, and even had dinner with her and her dancers … for as she said “we are the only tiny people here” … she is 5’1” and I am 5 flat lol.
The concert was fabulous, I had no idea that girl could belt like that ! She sang to a click track (so not a full track) and belted her little heart out !
I also ended up hooking up tickets and VIP for friends from college . They were suppose to be for a sparkle friend but she went MIA on me last minute ! Here is hoping work didn’t kidnap her !
This weekend is jam packed with family time ! for it is our thanksgiving !
