control yourself ; take only what you need

Remember recess ? oh gosh it seems like a millions years ago when you took liberty and advantage of recess. I remember in the cold months, and days like today, when I would be bundled up and complaining in my head to be inside … from time to time the girls and I would sneak into the stair well and hide from the recess monitors haha … and now I find myself aching for fifteen minutes of alone time at the office.

I remember at recess playing all sorts of games, from skipping to handball, from cards, to pogs [remember those?] and I loved rainy days where we stayed inside and played M.A.S.H and or What Would You Take To A Remote Island …

For M.A.S.H I always cheated … for those of you who don’t know what M.A.S.H is, its a wonderfuly historic and accurate [not] game that children play to see how their life will turn out in 15 + years … the letter M stood for Mansion, the letter A for Apartment, the letter S stood for Shack, and finally the letter H stood for house … you would start the game by drawing a 5 x 5 inch square with the letters M.A.S.H at the top … down the right side would be numbers 1 through 4, on the bottom of the square would be 4 types of transportation, i.e bike, car, motor boat, scooter. and finally, the right side, which every little girl loved, because the right side would be the four names of her crushes, the boys she wanted to marry … simply 4 names … Adam, Keith, Tyler, and Jason. [note : in no way did I ever predict they would end up the way they all did]. When the square is complete you get the opponent to close their eyes and on your count, you start ticking with a penile in the middle of the 5x5 square … 1,2,3,4,5 etc … and subsequently go around the square with whatever number they landed on and cross out whatever they landed on skipping the crossed out lines from the previous round.

I would cheat … yesss I was a cheater.

Which is why anytime we played that “What Would You Take to a Romote Island” game, my answer would always be the same …
